Happy New Year 2010

Well Hello, and welcome to 2010.  I don't know about you but I am having trouble with this new decade, referring to stuff coming up soon as next year and vice versa.  However, time marches on and sometimes it's hard not to look back and see how times have changed.

For instance, I recently read an email describing what life & technology was like in 1910; stuff like gas for cars was only sold by the jar in corner stores, only a few hundred miles of paved roads, only 3 in 10 homes had a telephone, bread cost 10 cents, and the average wage was only $300 year! 

When I look back over the past 10 years, what a difference in my life.  Ten years ago I lived in Waterloo, Ontario with 2 kids and worked as an enviornmental biologist.  Ten years later I have 4 kids and live in Carlisle, north of Burlington, and own and operate a couple of hot tub stores.  But that's the path of life; rarely a straight line with lots of curves and occasional set backs but also with great stretches of blue sky, leaps forward and satisfying experiences. 

As I move forward in this new decade, I know it will be challaging but also rewarding, for nothing is given to us, we must work hard for it, and work we will.   Here at The Sundance Spa Store we are striving to be the best Hot Tub company going.  Our mission is to grow our business by offering our customers the very best spa & sauna products available in the marketplace in order to improve their health and lifestyle.  We believe in honest hard work, professional sales practices, and we strive to offer superior customer care that exceeds expectations.  If we do that, I know we will be sucessful and content.

In a few weeks I will be at the Sundance Spas dealer conference in Cancun, Mexico, afterwhich I will report back on all the new and exciting things coming from Sundance Spas in the year ahead.
